Pakistan Association for the Blind Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in collaboration with Fata Sport Secretariat is going to hold a blind cricket tournament from April 7 in Arbab Niaz Stadium Peshawar. The announcement was made by PAB provincial president Qari Saad Noor. He said that blind association has been deprived of its right to play from the last two years and there is no opportunity for blind people to participate in sports activities.
He said the rights of actual disable people have been violated while selections of blind team have been made on the basis of nepotism and favouritism. He said sports department not taking steps for the promotion of sports for blind players of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He added that those players who are really blind and belonged to Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa would participate in this tournament which would be held at Arbab Niaz Stadium Peshawar.
