One of the members of Taliban's intermediary committee, Professor Ibrahim Khan, on Sunday said that the success of ongoing peace talks between the government and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) would materialise the dream of peace in the country. Talking to a private television channel, Ibrahim said that the members of government and Taliban committees would be leaving for North Waziristan for holding talks with the Taliban Shura in two to three days.
Professor Ibrahim said that the government and the TTP were working on a mechanism for release of the prisoners, adding that both sides were moving forward with full confidence.
Referring to the upcoming meeting with the Taliban, he said the venue would be decided within next two days. According to sources, it has been decided to form a special committee which will evolve mechanism for the release of prisoners.
