ISE index improves by 5.81 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 5.81 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,632.65 to 4,638.46 points. The overall turnover amounted to 681,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 316,600 shares.
Total 152 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (77) closed in positive territory, 75 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 145,000 shares. The volume of Lottee Chemical was 37,500 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 55,000 shares.
