Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel took oath as Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court (PHC) at a ceremony held at Governor's House, Peshawar on Tuesday. Governor, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Engr Shaukatullah administered the oath. Chief Minister, Parvez Khattak was also present on the occasion. The Governor and the Chief Minister congratulated Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel on taking over the new responsibilities.
Besides the judges of the PHC the ceremony was also attended by provincial Senior Minister Sirajul Haq, provincial ministers, senior government officials, senior lawyers and the relatives and well wishers of the new Chief Justice of the PHC.
