Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed on Wednesday hailed Taliban's condemnation of Islamabad market blast as a success, saying that terrorists have become isolated over government's policies. Speaking to reporters at the PIMS Hospital, Rasheed said Taliban have dissociated them from the terrorist attack, which left at least 24 people killed in the federal capital.
"Those who are playing with the lives of innocent people have no place in Pakistan," he said. The information minister said there is significant drop in terrorist attacks due to government's policies. In a statement, Taliban spokesman Shahidullah Shah denounced the Islamabad bombing as un-Islamic. "The deaths of innocent people in attacks on public places are saddening. Such attacks are wrong and against Islamic law," he said.
