The Sharif family was expected to record their statement on Friday, but their counsel Khawaja Haris requested Judge Bashir to give his clients time to go over the questionnaire sent by the court as they found some questions to be ambiguous. The judge had given them time till today.
The Sharif family had already been given a questionnaire consisting of more than 100 questions from which they were to prepare their answers. On the request of the prosecution, Judge Bashir had directed Sharif, Maryam and Safdar to record their statements regarding Avenfield reference.
