Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 15.44 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,730.16 to 4,714.72 points. The overall turnover amounted to 87,200 shares as compared to previous volume of 30,300 shares.
Total 150 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (87) closed in negative territory, 63 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 35,000 shares. The volume of K-Electric Ltd was 25,000 shares. The volume of National Bank of Pakistan was 20,000 shares.
