The Deputy Commissioner Matiari has stressed upon the NGOs, parents and every individual of the society to help the government for opening of closed schools and to ensure availability of teachers in schools. He also asked them to identify the ghost teachers so that action could be taken against them.
He was addressing the ceremony organised by the Latif Educational Channel with the collaboration of District Administration Matiari to show the tele-film "Bagh-e-Jannat" produced by renowned TV Actor & Producer Yar Muhammad Shah at Government Girls College Matiari. The Tele-film was aimed to motivate the people to take efforts to open closed schools and it also focused the elements create hindrances in opening of closed schools.
He said that the present Sindh Government has made a strategy under which priority was being given to re-open the closed schools, ensure attendance of ghost teachers and to get the maximum children enrolled in the schools. He asked the teachers to work and teach the children with missionary spirit rather just doing their jobs as routine and added that teachers shape the future of young generations. He informed that under the government's campaign to re-open the closed schools, 35-schools have been re-opened in District Matiari and hoped that other closed schools if any identified would also be re-opened on priority basis.
Lauding the renowned TV Actor & Producer Syed Yar Muhammad Shah for producing tele-film "Bagh-e-Jannat", the Deputy Commissioner Matiari said that the film will certainly help to motivate the people to play their role and also extent their co-operation with the government in re-opening the closed schools. He also stressed upon the drama and film producers to highlight the moral values besides providing entertainment to the people in their productions.
Addressing at the ceremony, the producer of the film Syed Yar Muhammad Shah has said that due to government's campaign of re-opening the closed schools, a number of closed schools started to re-open in villages of the district Matiari. He said that being a responsible citizen he felt his responsibility and produced the tele-film to motivate the people to help the government in re-opening the closed schools and play their vital role for the improvement of the education. He informed that he established a non-profit institute Latif Education Channel for the promotion of education.
