CNG station owners: contempt of court plea disposed of

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday disposed of a contempt of court petition filed by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) station owners against SNGPL for not allowing them to operate despite court's orders. A single-member bench comprising Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui resumed the hearing. During the course of proceedings, SNGPL submitted an undertaking that the court order pertaining to the provision of gas to the CNG stations should be implemented in letter and sprit. The court on the assurance of the SNGPL disposed of the petition.
