ISLAMABAD: The trend of arranging Iftar and Sehri meals for friends and family at restaurants become a new trend as almost every restaurant and food chains all across the country are offering different deals on discounted rates during the holy month of Ramazan to attract the more customers.
A report aired by a private news channel , as outdoor tradition to go for ‘Sehri and Iftari is gaining popularity, a great rush is witnessed at the time of Iftar in restaurants and hotels as people want to make their Ramazan special every day.
The restaurants have displayed details of menus on discounted rates to attract more and more people, said a citizen Huma Javed who came to a hotel along with her family for sehri meal.
Another housewife Shama Nawaz said it was a good trend to have Iftar and sehri food outside home as people did not have enough time to prepare all the dishes meant for Iftar.
A Restaurant owner said, most of the hotel and restaurants become lively with customer after midnight as the trend is getting popular like wildfire. People are seen to be flocked in restaurant and hotel to enjoy the Ramazan meals.
Marketing manager of Hotel said, we are trying to deliver standard food in Sehri. We reduced the use of spice in sehri items but it will not lessen the test of food. We are very careful to keep the food hygienic.
Another citizens Javed Danish said that during last few years the culture of Iftar parties has increased all across the country.
Local hotels, restaurants and food chains attract the general public with “family deals” that combine both the food and the ambiance, he added.
