Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Thursday visited anchorperson Hamid Mir to inquire after his health at his residence. He said those involved in the attack on Hamid Mir should be arrested and prosecuted. He praised the sacrifices of Hamid Mir for democracy and said his escape from murder attempt was a "miracle". He said Hamid Mir played an important role in creating political awareness in Pakistan.
He said PTI was not against journalists and anchors but his differences are with the administration of the channel. PTI Secretary General Jahangir Tareen and Naeem-ul-Haq accompanied Imran on this occasion.
