The Lahore High Court here on Friday summoned Punjab Accountant General to explain 23-year delay in release of pension of an employee retired from irrigation department on May 20. Petitioner, Abdul Latif, said the authorities had not obeyed a judicial order about his pension matter. He said the court had directed the respondents to resolve the issue immediately but his pension was not released. The petitioner said he retired from the service in 1991 but never got his pension.
