Former president Asif Zaradri has welcomed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's decision to accept invitation to attend Indian PM-elect Narendra Modi's inauguration, his spokesman said on Saturday. Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the former president described the decision as politically correct and wise. "Such decisions are often not easy but are necessary and need to be taken by political leadership in larger interests," Zardari said.
