Libya's El Sharara and El Feel oilfields remain shut, a spokesman for state-run National Oil Corp (NOC) said on Sunday, almost two weeks after the government said protests at the western fields had ended. NOC spokesman Mohamed El Harari said the North African country's oil production was unchanged at around 200,000 barrels per day (bpd).
He confirmed a report by state news agency LANA that the Nafoura oilfield in the east had resumed pumping but said output was only 2,000 bpd and was going into storage.
The OPEC producer produced 1.4 million bpd before nation-wide protests at oil fields and ports started in July 2013.
