Mir Khalid Langho, Finance Minister, Balochistan Monday called on Federal Finance Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar here and discussed issues related to the province. Khalid Langho briefed the Finance Minister on status of development projects in the province and said that it was for the first time that any Prime Minister had focused on development in the province.
He said that due to resolve and commitment of the Prime Minister, the people of Balochistan have started thinking of federation instead of nationalism. He said that the announcement of Sibi University by the Finance Minister, during his last visit to Quetta had a very positive impact in the province. He added that the people of Balochistan appreciated the Federal Government's assistance for the earth quake affecters of Avaran.
Khalid Langho informed the Finance Minister that keeping in view the backwardness and underdevelopment of Balochistan, the province would need the help of Federal Government for socio-economic uplift. The Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on the occasion assured Khalid that the commitments made by the Prime Minister and the Federal Government would be fulfilled. He added that the Prime Minister had a vision for Pakistan to develop infrastructure and communication links with the remote areas. He assured the Provincial Finance Minister that their share in PSDP would be provided for the projects.
