A joint delegation of district presidents and office-bearers of coalition parties of KP government Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI) from Dir Upper and lower districts called on the KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at his office CM Secretariat Peshawar. The delegation also included Provincial Minister LG Inayatullah Khan and MPA Muhammad Ali Khan.
On this occasion the delegation apprised the CM of the problems and issues of the people of both these remote districts. They also discussed about joint strategy for the forthcoming LG polls in the area. They reiterated their pledge to take all the like minded people along and devising joint strategy for LG elections as well as creating mass awareness about the importance of new LG system in the province. They acknowledged that the new LG system devised by PTI-led coalition government is far better and powerful than that of other provinces where mockery was made with the people and just hoodwinked by reviving the old and failed system.
Pervez Khattak lauded the spirit of co-operation and goodwill of the elected members and office-bearers of both the coalition political parties. He expressed the confidence that local leaders of the coalition partners would also adopt spirit of sacrifices and would work unitedly in larger public interest. He asserted that PTI-led coalition government would soon realise the agenda of change and thus forming corruption free welfare society wherein supremacy of law, merit and justice would be ensured.
