The government has budgeted foreign assistance of Rs 868.610 billion for 2014-15 including grants and loans against Rs 576.419 billion budgeted for the current fiscal year which was later revised upward to Rs 714.112 billion - the rise attributable to Eurobonds.
The external resources for 2014-15 have been projected at Rs 868.61 billion which are higher by 21.6% than the revised estimates of 2013-14 and 50.7% higher than the budget estimates of 2013-14. The government has budgeted loans of Rs 623.807 billion for 2014-15 against the estimates of Rs 467.437 billion for the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 675.326 billion. Under the head of the program loans the government has budgeted Rs 201.464 billion against Rs 110.272 billion estimated for 2013-14, which was later revised to Rs 249.386 billion.
From Euro Bonds, the government has budgeted Rs 49.5 billion for 2014-15 against Rs 49.5 billion for the current year which was revised to Rs 205.594 billion. From Islamic Development Bank the government has budgeted Rs 49.5 billion for the next fiscal year, the same amount budgeted for the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 51.45 billion.
From Sukuk Bond the government has budgeted Rs 49.5 billion for the next fiscal year however no amount was budgeted under this head in 2013-14. Other loans worth Rs 247.5 billion have been budgeted for 2014-15 against Rs 198 billion for the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 257.044 billion. Under the head of grants the government has budgeted Rs 244.803 billion for 2014-15 against Rs 108.982 billion for 2013-14 which was later revised to Rs 38.786 billion. Under the head of project grants the government has budgeted Rs 30.852 billion for next fiscal year against Rs 27.657 billion for the current fiscal year which was later revised to Rs 22.565 billion.
The government budgeted; Rs 1.006 billion from Kerry Lugar for the current year which was later revised to Rs 16.21 billion however for the next fiscal year Rs 15.951 billion has been budgeted. The government had budgeted Rs 1.11 billion from Tokyo pledges for 2013-14 which was later revised to zero and for the next fiscal year the government has not budgeted any amount under this head.
