Mixed patterns were seen on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab fell sharply by Rs 250 to Rs 11000, Moong Peshawar maintained last closing level at Rs 12500, wheat New Bardan shed Rs 15 to Rs 3325, they said.
On the grams side, grams 50x50, managed to gain Rs 100 to Rs 4900 and grams Dall 50x50, picked up the same amount to Rs 5400, Gur low type was down by Rs 200 to Rs 5600 while the best quality was unchanged at Rs 6500, other items were unmoved due to balanced demand and supply position, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh rose by Rs 25 to Rs 1875 and Rs 1950, they added. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh low type shed Rs 25 to Rs 3600 and the best quality was also down by Rs 50 to Rs 3700, they said.
