ISE index up by 28.24 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Friday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 28.24 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,439.30 to 4,467.54 points. The overall turnover amounted to 408,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 529,400 shares.
Total 142 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (55) closed in positive territory, 87 closed in negative territory, whereas zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 301,000 shares. The volume of OGDC was 50,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Cement was 46,000 shares.
