President Young Doctors Association Sindh Dr Murad Qureshi has strongly criticised the manhandling of a lady doctor of gynaecological ward of Civil Hospital Hyderabad and demanded the high ups of the government to take serious notice over the incident and provide justice and protection to affected doctor.
Addressing a news conference here at Hyderabad Press Club on Sunday, he regretted over the attitude of the hospital management of not taking any action against those who involved in manhandling of the lady doctor in presence of the guards of a private security company.
He also regretted of no action taken by the police despite the registration of the FIR with nomination of accused persons adding that when the doctors staged protest demonstration into such inhuman act, the threats of dire consequences are also being issued to them. He said that the manhandling of doctors in the hospital has become the order of the day and there is not protection to the live and respect of doctors.
