A post budget seminar was held in the Rawalpindi/Islamabad Tax Bar Building here on Monday. Aftab Ahmed, the Chief Commissioner, RTO, Rawalpindi was invited as the chief guest, Imtiaz and Khalid Javed Commissioners, RTO, Rawalpindi was also invited at the event.
Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO) Rawalpindi responded to the queries of the business community regarding Finance Bill (2104-15) with focus on rationalisation of taxes, amendments in federal tax laws and different tax treatment between the filers and non-filers of returns. Aslam Anwar, Advocate High Court, the acting President RITBA chaired the seminar.
The changes made in the Income Tax through the recent Finance Bill was elaborated by the senior member Habib Fakhar Uddin, FCA, while the changes made in the Sales Tax were elaborated by the Tauqeer Bukhari, Advocate High Court. Faraz Fazal Shiekh, Acting Secretary General, RITBA honoured to arrange the seminar.
