Senate body for improvement in Postal Services
ISLAMABAD: Senate Standing Committee on Postal Services on Tuesday recommended that more steps would be taken for bringing improvement in the services of Postal Services.
The committee met here at Parliament House under the Chairmanship Khushbakht Shujaat, chairperson of the committee.
The meeting was also attended by members of the committee including Rana Maqbool Ahmed, Mir Kabeer Ahmed Muhammad Shahi, Anwar Lal Din, Naseemullah Bazai and Mushtaq Ahmed.
The meeting was attended by Secretary Postal Services Hameed Haroon, Director General Pakistan Post Rubina Tayyab and Director IPS Hafiz Shakeel Ahmed.
Chairperson of the committee said Postal Services was very important department which serve the people across the country.
She said efforts should be made to make it more effective to facilitate the people.
Earlier, the senior officials of the Ministry of Postal Services briefed the committee about the overall performance of Pakistan Post.
The committee was also informed about the projects initiated under the Prime Minister Postal Reforms Agenda for bringing improvement in the services.
