The Department of Surgery, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS), Jamshoro arranged a clinical symposium on "Breast Cancer" on Thursday. Professor Rufina Soomro from Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi has expressed that breast cancer has high occurrence rate as compared to other cancer cases all over the world. She said early detection in order to improve breast cancer outcome and survival remains the cornerstone of breast cancer control.
Dr Asghar Hussain Asghar from KIRAN Hospital, Karachi, Dr Quratullain Soomro, Dr Asghar Chandio from NORIN Hospital Nawabshah, Professor Abdul Razaque Shaikh, Dean Surgical and Allied Sciences LUMHS and Dr Ambreen Muneer of LUMHS shared their presentations regarding the disease.
