Eighty-four (84) members of Punjab Assembly belonging to different parliamentary groups having upper age limit of 45 years have formed Punjab parliamentary youth caucus in a meeting presided over by Provincial Youth Affairs Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, here on Thursday.
It was decided at the meeting that besides a general body consisting 84 MPAs, there would be an 11-member executive body of the youth caucus which would be represented by all the parliamentary groups of the Punjab Assembly. This caucus will help achieve consensus for resolution of issues pertaining to the youth bulge through across party mediation and facilitation process for cross-cultural dispute resolution.
The Minister emphasising the significance of the newly formulated youth caucus, said it would provide us a launching pad for highlighting the great potential of Pakistani youth through interacting with the entire world.
