Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan), Lahore Branch Council organised a Post Budget Seminar 2014-15 at its Lahore campus. The objective of the seminar was to explore opportunities in the budget and discuss its implication on the economy. Prominent personalities from the industry and learned ICMA Pakistan members belonging to eminent sectors of economy participated in the seminar.
Zia-ul-Mustafa Awan President ICMA Pakistan discussed the opportunities for general public and for accountants. He also highlighted some challenges and recommended way forward. Muhammad Yasin, Chairman Lahore Branch Council initiated the seminar with welcome address. Abdul Razaq (FCMA), Asim Zulfiqar Ali (FCA), Ayesha Qazi, Advocate, President LTBA and Shahzad Awan, Treasurer ICMAP participated in the technical speeches. Sh. Mahmood Ul Hassan, FCMA, Director Central Region and Altamash Pervaiz, Sr. Deputy Director Central Region, ICMA Pakistan were also present at the seminar. At the closing of seminar, Zeeshan Chishti presented vote of thanks. The seminar was attended by ICMA Pakistan members, members of other professional bodies, professionals from corporate world and students.
