Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has warned of staging sit-ins at 15 railway stations if any attempt was made to stop his 'Awami Train March' scheduled for June 20.
Addressing a press conference here on Sunday, the AML chief said that Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain would welcome the train march in Gujrat, Hamid Nasir Chatta in Wazirabad and Awami Tehreek will warmly receive it at Lahore.
He urged all political parties to unite on one platform and form a grand alliance. He also expressed his wish that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri be on same page.
He further said that Pakistan People's Party was a 'retailer party', while Pakistan Muslim league is a 'wholesale party' which is involved in corruption on larger scale.
He said that they did not want to derail democracy, adding if a family is derailed; it does not mean derailment of democracy.
