Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Mahmud-ur-Rashid has said that unemployment was on the rise because of electricity loadshedding in the country. He was addressing at a protest camp organised by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf here on Sunday.
He said because of loadshedding and electricity shortage people were in financial disarray. He said they would continue their agitation against unchecked rise in prices of essentials commodities, loadshedding and other issues.
He criticised the Punjab Chief Minister for his failure to fulfill his promise for doing away with loadshedding and called him by the name of 'Showbaz Sharif'. A number of opposition members of the Punjab Assembly were present in the PTI protest camp.
