Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah claimed on Wednesday that Gullu Butt was not a worker of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the party has no connection with him. Talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly, the provincial law minister said that the government did not direct the police to launch operation against Minhaj Trust. "Police only went there to remove the barriers," he told media. Earlier, Gullu Butt - the man responsible for vandalising cars outside the Minhaj-ul-Quran office, was arrested on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif's orders.
