Jamaat-i-Islami Central amir, and KP Senior Minister for Finance, Siraj-ul-Haq said the provincial government was not taken into confidence prior to launching military operation in North Waziristan agency, despite that fact the provincial government is doing all out efforts to provide best possible facilities to internally uprooted people due to operation in the tribal agency.
He was talking to reporters upon in visit to Aba-Khel IDPs camp in district Bannu here on Friday. Siraj-ul-Haq, who is also KP Senior Minister for Finance, said the provincial government has been allocated Rs 350million for people affected by military operation in NWA, and ensure further funds, if it would be required, he added.
Accompanied by JI provincial amir, Professor Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, he said that the military affected people are being faced with numerous difficulties in their time testing situation. He directed the workers of Jammate Islami and Al-Khidmat foundation to extend services and carryout relief work day and night for military affected IDPs from NWA.
On the occasion, JI provincial amir, informed the JI has been established relief camps at various points in district Bannu, while Al-Khidmat foundation also set-up medical camps at three-locations. He further said that residential facility has been provided by converting lady park and Milad park into temporary shelter-home for military affected people of NWA, wherein they will have available all kind of facilities, JI provincial amir said.
Earlier, JI central amir attended a briefing at Commissioner House district Bannu. On the occasion deputy commissioner Bannu, DIG and JI provincial amir Professor Ibrahim also present.
