Junior National Selection Committee of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has short listed as many as 28 cricket players to take part in five trial matches in order to select the Pakistan U-17 cricket team for the forthcoming tour of England in August 2014. In addition to 25 already selected for the NCA U-16 Advance Coaching Program earlier, these 28 players will also participate in these trial matches which will be played from 23rd-27th June 2014 at the LCCA Ground, Lahore.
The players are: Imran Rafique, Yousaf Babar (Multan), Gohar Hafeez, Safeer Ahmad (Lahore), Nasir Nawaz, Zeeshan Malik, Shadab Khan (Rawalpindi), Syed Muzammil Shah, Sajawal Riaz, Ali Imran, Shaharyar Afaqi, Asjad Nawaz (Islamabad), Salman Shah (Peshawar), Aitezaz Khokhar, M. Shahabul Khan, M. Saleem (Faisalabad), Aqib Javed, Usman Ali, Muhammad Umair (Bahawalpur), M. Ibrahim, Sultan Mehmood, Muhammad Arif (Abbottabad), Imran Khan, Muhammad Imran (Quetta) Ahmad Iqbal (Sialkot) Hassan Shahab, Usama Ali, Azam Khan (Karachi).
