The government of Gilgit-Baltistan here on Monday presented a budget of Rs 27 billion in the budget session of the regional legislative assembly. According to the details, a sum of Rs 18 billion has been allocated for non-development projects' expenditures while Rs 9 billion have been proposed for developmental expenditures.
This was decided in a cabinet meeting which was attended by the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary and officials. The Cabinet was briefed about the budget by Finance Secretary Hanif Channa.
