The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) would supplement all efforts of the Punjab government aimed at revival of economic activities. In a letter written to Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz, the LCCI Acting President Mian Tariq Misbah said the business community appreciates the valiant efforts taken by the provincial government.
The recent past, energy crisis hollowed the foundations of industrial sector and had cost the country around 4 per cent of GDP growth but now the things are moving in right direction, he added. Misbah said that the business community appreciates various projects to tackle the energy crisis in the province. Like 1,000MW Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park in Bahawalpur, 1,320MW coal fired power plants in Sahiwal, 425MW Nandipur power project and 300MW power plant in the Faisalabad Textile Park.
