At least three persons were killed in separate incidents of violence while four tortured bodies were found here on Monday. According to police and rescue sources, four bodies bearing torture marks and hands tied behind their back were recovered from Rais Goth area of Baldia Town on Monday. The spent shells of 9mm pistol were also recovered near the bodies.
The deceased were yet to be identified till filing of this story; however the bodies were shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities. In another case, Nazia daughter of Habib was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Jhat Lines area. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for autopsy.
Body of man was recovered from 'Babar Kanta'in Sarjani Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. The identity of the deceased could not be identified till filing of this report. Sahab Gull, 40, was gunned down by unidentified persons at Kati Pahari. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examinations.
Rahat Ali, son of Ghafoor, was short and injured by unknown persons near Ibraheem Haidari police station. He was rushed to JPMC for treatment. In another incident, Nasira Rizvi wife of Sohail was injured by unidentified persons near Ali Raza Imambargah on MA Jinnah Road. She was immediately moved to a private hospital for medical assistance. Amir Shehbaz son of Abdul Malik was shot and injured by unknown persons in Ali Akbar Goth, Landhi. The injured was rushed to JPMC for treatment.
