Punjab Minister Bilal Yasin and Advisor Khawaja Salman Rafique have said that Maulvi/Chaudhry alliance has become laughing stock all over the world and the drama of Maulana has given nothing to the people except wasting their time. They said neither there had been a role of Tahir-ul-Qadri in the past nor it would be in future, adding same was the case of Chaudhry brothers as they wanted to come into power through backdoor.
In a statement, Bilal Yasin and Khawaja Salman Rafique said there was a democratic government in the country and Pakistan was making rapid progress. They said entire nation was united in the war against terrorism and the brave soldiers of Pak Army were sacrificing their lives for safeguarding the motherland in operation Zarb-e-Azb. They said every Pakistani was wondering whose agenda Maulana was acting upon and why he did not want to see the country progressing. Bilal Yasin and Salman Rafique said Maulana wanted to create chaos and anarchy in the country in the name of so-called revolution, adding every citizen was deeply grieved over the tragic incident of Model Town.
They said on the request of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, judicial commission had started its work and in the light of its report, deterrent punishment would be awarded to the persons responsible for that tragedy.
They said the way workers of Awami Tehrik damaged public property and tortured police officials in Rawalpindi was highly condemnable. "Would Maulana, travelling in business class, like to tell the nation what kind of revolution he wants to bring," they questioned. Bilal Yasin and Salman Rafique advised Maulana Tahir-ul-Qadri to show sense of responsibility in the present circumstances and remain careful from political dwarfs.
