An anti-terrorism court here on Monday released five more workers of Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) arrested during the anti-encroachment operation outside the residence of Dr Tahirul Qadri in Model Town. Faisal Town police produced case record and pleaded that the suspects were arrested while attacking police personnel. The suspects were on judicial remand and filed bail petition.
Their counsel, however, rejected the allegations and said police implicated them in the case falsely. He prayed to the court to release the workers on bail. The court after hearing the arguments granted bail to the suspects.
