The Supreme Court on Wednesday sought details from the Lahore High Court (LHC) in the Farzana Bibi murder case, a pregnant woman who was stoned to death in the name of honour in the premises of LHC. A three-member SC bench headed by Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani heard a suo motu case on the murder of Farzana Bibi.
During the proceeding Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked that life of Farzana Bibi could have been saved if the police had fired even single bullet as it was standing hardly 160 feet away from the crime scene. The court adjourned proceeding till Thursday.
