The Lahore High Court here on Thursday extended its stay till July 07 against proceedings by an election tribunal in response to an appeal of PTI chairman Imran Khan for vote recount in NA-122, Lahore. The petitioner, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, had approached the court against tribunal's proceedings. The petitioner contended that after facing defeat in general elections Imran filed an appeal before the election tribunal for a vote recount.
