Bulls dominate ISE

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 5.59 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,587.10 to 4,592.69 points. The overall turnover amounted to 561,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 62,500 shares.
Total 139 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (74) closed in positive territory, 65 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Sui Southern Gas was 525,000 shares. The volume of Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 25,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertilizer Co was 7,500 shares.
