The Capital police claimed to have arrested five proclaimed offenders, wanted in various cases of murder and family disputes. A police official said Farzand Ali was assassinated on March 29, 2013 and Muhammad Ramzan and his mother were injured by unknown assailants in Sohan area of Shehzad Town police station as a result of family dispute.
The Shehzad Town police registered the case under Section 302/324/337F-ii/148/149 PPC and arrested Muhammad Akram allegedly involved in the case. His other accomplices were declared as proclaimed offenders. The police team traced the absconding criminals who have been identified as Zulfiqar Ali, Tahir, Azra, Saima and Sana. Police have obtained their physical remand from the concerned court and further investigation is underway.
