Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif left for Beijing on Sunday on a visit to China. Talking to media persons at airport before his departure for China, the Chief Minister said that Pakistan and China are bound together in strong ties of love and friendship. He said that the rapid progress made by China is a role model for other countries.
He said that China is extending full co-operation to Pakistan in energy, infrastructure and other sectors. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Pak-China friendship has been transformed into mutually beneficial economic relations between the two countries. He said that his visit to China would further promote trade and economic ties while ongoing co-operation in energy, infrastructure and other sectors would also be enhanced.
