Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Monday clarified that the agenda of his meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab mainly focused on the prevailing national and political situation, adding that how it could be possible to discuss personal problems at a time when the country is in the grip of various kinds of problems.
"It did not happen in the past and will not happen in future," he made it clear. He said that he did not hold the meeting with Prime Minister to lodge any complaint against any minister, adding that neither any minister is interfering in his ministry nor one can do. The fact is that he is enjoying cordial relations not only with all cabinet members but also with whole parliamentary parties, he said.
Nisar said that he was shocked to hear and read the name of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar repeatedly linked to it and added that he had good and cordial relation with him. He rejected the impression that more than one groups surfaced within the party. However, he said that if any minister is fanning the fire with the purpose to earn cheap popularity he will never give any importance to such activities and have no reservations, because it happens in political parties. Nisar said that it would be really a matter of concern for him if he faces criticism from an honest and person of well repute.-PR
