At least five people including a cop were killed in separate incidents of violence while CPLC claimed to have recovered two abductees here on Tuesday. According to police and rescue sources, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Ali was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Khuldabad Choki, located in Shah Latif Town. Police said that the shooting incident occurred on Tuesday in which ASI Muhammad Ali was killed.
The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center JPMC for medico-legal formalities. Akbar, 35, and his 12-year-old son Muhammad Taj were killed by unknown armed men at Cheel Chowk Lyari. Their bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for legal formalities.
Ahmad Khan, 28, son of Ahmad Jan was shot and killed by unidentified persons in Sultanabad, in Mangophir area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for post-mortem examinations. In another incident, Tahir son of Azim Baloach was gunned down by unknown men in Gulshan-e- Munir, in Malir. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center JPMC for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, CPLC sources said that they have recovered two abductees and arrested two alleged kidnappers from the hideout in Gulshan-e-Hadeed. The recovered persons were identified as Safdar Ali Shah, 30, son of Dr Mehtab Ali Shah and Azhar Shekh, 28, son of Dr Muhammad Ayub Sheikh.
They said that the both persons came to Karachi on 24, 6 2014 from Jamshoro as they came out from Air port they were kidnapped by unidentified persons. The kidnappers were demanding Rs 6.0 million and 80 'Tola' gold as ransom from both families through telephone calls since July 24 June. Meanwhile the effected families approached CPLC and AVCC for assistance. However on the directives of their Chief Ahmad Chinoy, CPLC team initiated investigations on this case, and managed to recover the both abductees safely and without giving any ransom, and arrested two alleged kidnappers from hideout in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on 6,7 2014.
