Hot and humid weather conditions are expected in most parts of the country today. However, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places of Gilgit-Baltistan. In its daily weather report, the Met Office said that hot and humid weather conditions are expected in most parts of the country during next 48 hours. However, rain-thundershower is expected at isolated places of Gilgit-Baltistan.
It further said that weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the country on Tuesday. The hottest places in the country were: Dadu 46°C, Sibbi 45°C, Sh Benazirabad, Noorpur Thal, Bhakkar, Khanpur 44°C, Rohri, Moenjodharo, Nokkundi, R Y Khan, Mianwali, Bahawalnagar 43°C.
Flood situation: River Kabul at Nowshera is in low flood level and falling. All the other major rivers are flowing in their state of normal flow.
Rivers flows, reservoirs level report: According to July 08, 2014 report of Wapda about the position of the river inflows/outflows and the reservoirs levels, 1,64,400 is flowing in the mighty Indus at Tarbela dam, 2,42.800 cusecs at Jinnah barrage, 2,45,200 cusecs at Chashma , 2,57,800 cusecs at Taunsa, 1,94,000 cusecs at Guddu, 1,29,500 cusecs at Sukkur and 55,248 cusecs of water at Kotri barrage. The water flow in river Kabul at Nowshera was 73,900 cusecs, in river Jhelum at Mangla 53,400 cusecs and in river Chenab 67,100 cusecs.
