Former interior minister and Pakistan People's Party (PPP) leader, Rehman Malik on Thursday advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to accede to the demand of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) for a vote recount in four constituencies. Talking to media representatives here, Rehman Malik said the PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari gave a right statement in support of PTI's demand for verification of ballot in four constituencies of Punjab. "Asif Zardari showed a right path to Nawaz Sharif," he added.
He further said that Asif Zardari only gives carefully calibrated statements. Rehman Malik, in the same breath, also called upon PTI Chairman Imran Khan to come up with whatever evidence he has in support of his claims of rigging. To a question, he said former President Pervez Musharraf's fate should be left with the court.
