The new Xperia C3 comes with a relatively high-resolution 5-megapixel front-mounted camera, including an LED flash. It also has a 25-millimetre wide-angle lens so as many people and as much of the surroundings as possible can fit into the picture. It automatically takes pictures when everyone in the image smiles, or when the user taps on the back side twice.
At 7.6 millimetres thick and 150 grams, the LTE, dual-SIM smartphone comes with Android 4.4 (Kitkat), a 5.5-inch HD display, a 1.2-gigahertz quadcore processor, an 8-megapixel main camera, 1 gigabyte (GB) of working memory and 8 GB of storage.
The Xperia C3 should go on sale in August. No price has been named.
