Defaulters owing over Rs 310.9 million: gas supply to as many as 61 industrial, commercial units disconnected
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has disconnected gas supply to as many as 61 industrial and commercial units defaulting for owing an amount of over Rs 310.9 million. According to the SNGPL officials, Managing Director, SNGPL, Arif Hameed has issued orders to speed up process of disconnecting industrial and commercial defaulting consumers in view of orders given by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to take strict action against gas bill defaulters.
According to details, gas connections of 20 consumers of Lahore, two consumers of Multan, seven consumers of Rawalpindi, 10 consumers of Sheikhupura, six consumers of Gujranwala, two consumers of Sahiwal, seven consumers of Faisalabad, six consumers of Islamabad and one consumer of Gujrat regions were disconnected. In Lahore region, gas connection of Shahkam Industries (Rs 42,547,102), Maher Gas Station (Rs 38,221,334), Ital Sports Pvt Ltd (Rs 3,323,650), Shahid CNG Filling (Rs 2,422,813), Ittehad Steel R R Mills (Rs 1,920,111), Ital Sports (Pvt) Ltd (Rs 1,328,464), Pure Gas Company (Rs 740,620), Kays Poultry Feed (Rs 190,893), Mushtaque Dyeing Works (Rs 174,111), Indus Adhesive Indst (Rs 141,911), Idrees Steel R R Mills (Rs 139,145), Barkat Ali Sons (Rs 136,555), Faiz Chemicals (Rs 127,315), Faiz Chemicals (Rs 127,315), Mahboob Steel R R Mills (Rs 105,317), Tahir Nazir (Bakery) (Rs 1,820,282), Muhammad Riaz (Rs 1,705,251), Malik Muhammad Iqbal (Rs 1,229,771), Mehmood Ahmed (Rubber Work) (Rs 1,054,771), Zafar Iqbal (Rs 797,846), Fazal Ellahi (Rs 608,413) were disconnected.
In Multan region, gas connections of Chaudhry Muhammad Amir Karama (Rs 36,109,864), Multan Steel Spring (Rs 305,855) and in Rawalpindi region gas connections of Al Shifa Trust (Rs 28,385,140), Ali Karim CNG (Rs 25,118,266), Rehan CNG Station (Rs 16,456,707), Noor CNG Station (Rs 11,031,190), Lalazar CNG Station (Rs 2,923,112), Pakistan Plaster Of Paris (Rs 609,101) and Shaukat Hassan (Rs 811,328) were disconnected.
In Sheikhupura region, gas connections of Arain CNG Station (Rs 24,928,815), Ikhwan Calcioms (Pvt) (Rs 6,454,355), Murad Filling Station (Rs 4,299,266), Gill CNG Filling (Rs 3,797,215), Lahore CNG (Rs 2,800,136), Siara Enterprises (Rs 1,479,835), Hafiz Saleem (Rs 2,174,875), Syed Sadaqat Ali Shah (Rs 1,617,638), Muhammad Usman (Rs 1,565,207), Rehmat Ali (Rs 787,745) were disconnected.
In Gujranwala region, gas connections of Basharat Ahmed (Rs 12,121,309), Bhoon CNG Station (Rs 4,382,205), Masha Allah CNG (Rs 2,588,909), Shama CNG Filling (Rs 2,571,660), Zia-E-Madina (Rs 2,037,508), Muhammad Yousuf (Rs 495,041) were disconnected. In Sahiwal region, gas connections of Caltex Oil (Rs 2,104,827), Muhammad Ashraf Iqbal (Rs 684,319); and in Faisalabad region gas connections of Data Sizing (Rs 1,673,684), Khalid Industries (Rs 1,252,079), Zeeshan Textile Industries (Rs 448,930), Al-Kisan Sizing Industries (Rs 366,023), Crescent Callendering (Rs 264,186), Hussian Sizing Industries (Rs 263,360) and Muhammad Aslam (Rs 79,911).
In Islamabad region, gas connections of Rawal Steel Re-rolling Works (Rs 231,357), Embassy Of The State Of Kuwait In Pakistan (Rs 2,785,278), Mohammad Shafeeq (Rs 2,660,573), Zahid Iqbal (Rs 1,811,520), M Rafeeq (Rs 689,399), Haq Nawaz (Rs 667,012); and in Gujrat region gas connection of Mian Amjad Mehmood (Rs 424,345) was disconnected.
