The Centre for IT Services University of Peshawar (UoP) has arranged one-day training workshop on various aspects of computer and IT tools for the IT focal persons and computer operators of the respective departments of UoP. The workshop was attended by 40 participants where they were equipped with skills related to windows installation, IP configuration and network troubleshooting.
Vice Chancellor UoP, Professor Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. He was accompanied by Registrar, Dr Syed Fazl I Hadi and Treasurer Dr Yorid Ahsan Zia. While addressing the inaugural session, the VC said that higher education in Pakistan is passing through a transformational phase and the medium to achieve the same would be none other than an updated system of professional IT services in universities.
He urged the employees to make life easier for people and become efficient service providers to the students and community at large. Director, Centre for IT Services, Dr Muhammad Asif and Deputy Director Muhammad Irfanullah were the resource persons of the workshop.
