Rs 2.8 million distributed among students: Zakat chairman

Chairman Zakat and Usher Committee Quetta, Sardar Zainul Abidin on Tuesday said that Rs 2.8 million had been distributed among the students of schools and colleges during the year 2013-14. "Rs 1.4 million were delivered to the seminaries while medicines of Rs 30 million were handed over to the deserving and poor families," he said while talking to APP. He urged the philanthropists of the society to help the poor in the holy month of Ramazan and contribute for the celebration of Eid for the children of poor families.
