ISE index down by 32.17 points

Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 32.17 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 4,800.33 to 4,768.16 points. The overall turnover amounted to 750,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 39,000 shares.
Total 136 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (95) closed in negative territory, 40 closed in positive territory, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of K-Electric Ltd was 700,000 shares. The volume of The Bank of Punjab was 28,000 shares. The volume of Fauji Fertiliser Company Ltd was 10,500 shares.
