66 KV Grid Station Roujhan Jamali upgraded into 132 KV with cost of Rs510mn under ADB
QUETTA: Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) upgraded 66 KV Grid Station Roujhan Jamali into 132 KV Grid Station after converting it through cooperation of Asia Development Bank in Nasirabad district.
According to QESCO press release issued here on Wednesday, the up gradation of 132 KV was started to supply electricity to Dera Murabad Jamali, RouJhan Jamali, and other nearby areas which was prolong demand of the residences.
Chief Executive Officer QESCO Engineer Atta-Ullah Bhata is monitoring on going development of electricity schemes in the area, it added.
Roujhan Jamali Grid Station 27 km away from Dera Murad Jamali Grid Station which is vast transmission line and it was launched to supply of electric after completing this project in the area.
The project is completed with cooperation of Asian Development Bank (ADB) which has cost around Rs 510 million.
QESCO had completed this project before the scheduled period of time and all 11 KV feeders have been connected with 132 KV Roujhan Jamali Grid Station for improving voltage of electricity, aiming to provide to relief masses in the area which is prolong demand of public.
However, earlier Roujhan Jamali 66 KV Grid was supplying electricity to the area which is always creating problems due to overloading of electricity and it now upgraded into 132 KV from 66 KV for ensuring providing supply of electricity in the area.
Besides, the up-gradation of 66 KV Grid Station Usta Muhammad and Jhal Magsi works is being continued in the area which would be soon completed for facilities of masses.
